'గబ్బర్ సింగ్' వంటి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ తర్వాత ఆయన కథానాయకుడిగా కల్ట్ కెప్టెన్ హరీష్ శంకర్ (Harish Shankar) దర్శకత్వం వహించిన చిత్రమిది. ఈ సినిమా ఓటీటీ స్ట్రీమింగ్ డేట్ అనౌన్స్ చేశారు. </p>

<p><strong>అసలు 'ఉస్తాద్' కథ ఏమిటి?</strong><br />తల్లిదండ్రులు మరణించిన ఓ అనాథ బాలుడిని ఓ స్కూల్ టీచర్ చేరదీస్తాడు. ఆ ఊరిలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి తలలో నాలుకలా ఉండే బాలుడికి చదువు చెప్పించి ప్రయోజకుడిని చేస్తాడు. ఆ టీచర్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి అయ్యే సమయానికి ఆ బాలుడు పోలీస్ ఆఫీసర్ అవుతాడు. ఆ బాలుడి పేరు ఉస్తాద్ భగత్ సింగ్. </p>
