He declined government medical reimbursement, adhering to his principle of not using public money for personal needs. ఏపీ ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ముంబైలో భుజం శస్త్రచికిత్స చేయించుకున్నారు. అన్ని వైద్య ఖర్చులను సొంత నిధులతోనే భరించారు.
