Paraquat ban: Central govt has banned fresh registration of the herbicide Paraquat Dichloride and cancelled existing licences. The decision follows prolonged demand by farmers, doctors and Warangal MP Dr Kadiyam Kavya over its severe health and environmental risks. పారాక్వాట్ డైక్లోరైడ్ (గడ్డి మందు) కొత్త రిజిస్ట్రేషన్‌పై కేంద్రం నిషేధం విధించి, ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న రిజిస్ట్రేషన్లను రద్దు చేసింది.
