In a Diwali gift to farmers, the Union Cabinet approved a Rs.160/quintal hike in Wheat MSP for 2026-27, setting the new price at Rs.2,585. The government also approved MSP hikes for five other Rabi crops. దీపావళికి ముందు రైతులకు శుభవార్త. కేంద్ర కేబినెట్ గోధుమ MSPని క్వింటాల్‌కు రూ.160 పెంచి, కొత్త ధర రూ.2,585గా నిర్ణయించింది. ఇతర 5 రబీ పంటల MSP పెంపునకు కూడా ఆమోదం లభించింది.
