Crest Gates of Tunga Reservoir in Karnataka Lifted to Release Excess Monsoon Inflows to Downstream. Heavy inflow caused by rain in the catchment area prompted officers of the Tunga Project to open the gates. The water level stood at 588.18 m, against the full reservoir level. దీంతో తుంగ రిజర్వాయర్ గేట్లు ఎత్తివేశారు అధికారులు. వరద నీటిని దిగువకు వదలివేస్తోన్నారు.
