Banswara district alone in Rajasthan produces enough gold to meet 25 percent of the country gold demand. It is said that the third largest gold reserves are found in Kankaria village of Ghatol tehsil in Banswara district, with a total of 222 tons of gold. రాజస్థాన్ రాష్ట్రంలోని ఒక్క బన్స్వార జిల్లాలోనే దేశంలోని 25 శాతం బంగారం డిమాండ్ తీర్చగలిగే బంగారం ఉత్పత్తి అవుతుందని చెబుతున్నారు.
