TTD took up modernisation and expansion of the temple complex at an estimated cost of Rs 140 crore, with plans for outer prakarams, three five storeyed rajagopurams and a seven storeyed Maha Rajagopuram. ఆలయ విస్తరణ, ఆధునీకరణ కోసం టీటీడీ ఇదివరకే 260 కోట్ల రూపాయలను మంజూరు చేసింది.
