<p><strong>Total Mobile Users In India:</strong> బుధవారం పార్లమెంటులో ఇచ్చిన సమాచారం ప్రకారం అక్టోబర్ 31వ తేదీ నాటికి దేశంలో మొత్తం మొబైల్ వినియోగదారుల సంఖ్య 115.12 కోట్లుగా ఉంది. ఈ విషయాన్ని కేంద్ర సమాచార ప్రసారాలు, గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి డాక్టర్ చంద్రశేఖర్ పెమ్మసాని లిఖితపూర్వక సమాధానంలో తెలిపారు. దేశంలోని 6,44,131 గ్రామాలలో 6,23,622 గ్రామాలు ఇప్పుడు మొబైల్ కవరేజీని కలిగి ఉన్నాయని లోక్‌సభలో ఒక ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానంగా చెప్పారు. జనావాసాలు లేని గ్రామాల్లో మొబైల్ కవరేజీని ప్రభుత్వం, టెలికాం సర్వీస్ ప్రొవైడర్లు (TSPs) దశలవారీగా అందజేస్తారు.</p>
<p>ఇవే కాకుండా దేశంలోని గ్రామీణ, మారుమూల, కొండ ప్రాంతాలలో మొబైల్ టవర్ల ఏర్పాటు ద్వారా టెలికాం కనెక్టివిటీని విస్తరించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం డిజిటల్ ఇండియా ఫండ్ (డీబీఎన్) కింద పలు పథకాలు, ప్రాజెక్టులను అమలు చేస్తోందని కేంద్ర మంత్రి తెలిపారు.</p>

<p>భారతదేశంలోని అన్ని గ్రామ పంచాయతీలకు బ్రాడ్‌బ్యాండ్ కనెక్టివిటీని అందించడానికి ప్రయత్నాలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. డిజిటల్ ఇండియా ఫండ్ ద్వారా నిధులు అందుకున్న భారత్‌నెట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ (గతంలో నేషనల్ ఆప్టికల్ ఫైబర్ నెట్‌వర్క్ అని పిలిచేవారు) దశలవారీగా అమలు అవుతోంది.</p>
<p>సవరించిన భారత్‌నెట్ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌కు ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న భారత్‌నెట్ ఫేజ్-1, ఫేజ్-2 నెట్‌వర్క్‌లను అప్‌గ్రేడ్ చేయడం, మిగిలిన దాదాపు 42,000 గ్రామ పంచాయతీలలో నెట్‌వర్క్ నిర్మాణం, 10 సంవత్సరాల పాటు ఆపరేషన్, మెయింటెయిన్‌స్ కోసం మొత్తం రూ. 1,39,579 కోట్లు వినియోగించడానికి క్యాబినెట్ ఆమోదించింది.</p>
<p><strong>97 శాతం గ్రామీణ భారతదేశంలో మొబైల్ నెట్‌వర్క్ కవరేజీ...</strong><br />గ్రామీణ భారతదేశంలో మొబైల్ నెట్‌వర్క్ కవరేజీ దాదాపు 97 శాతానికి చేరుకుందని, 6,14,564 గ్రామాలు 4జీ మొబైల్ కనెక్టివిటీని పొందుతున్నాయని గత వారం ప్రభుత్వం నివేదించింది. అక్టోబర్ 31వ తేదీ వరకు దేశంలోని 783 జిల్లాల్లో 779 జిల్లాల్లో 5జీ సేవలు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి. ఇది కాకుండా దేశంలో 4.6 లక్షలకు పైగా 5జీ బేస్ ట్రాన్స్‌సీవర్ స్టేషన్‌లు (BTS) ఇన్‌స్టాల్ అయ్యాయి. </p>
